Vadnagar is a city in the Mahesana district of the Indian state of Gujarat. Vadnagar is connected by rail and road. It is the birth place of the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. Badnagar was a princely state in olden times, where Kanaksen was ruling. Kanak Sen was a Suryavanshi Kshatriya, who was the ancestor of Sikarwar, Badgurjar, Raghav, Guhil (Sisodia). The capital was made by his four sons, Veer Sen, Dhirsen, Raghavsen and Chandrasen Bad Riyasat, which was located in the Gurjar country, because of ruling over which Raghav was called Badgurjar, which means Gurjar of Bad Pradesh (Gurjar is not used for any caste but for the place Was ) वड़नगर Vadnagar વડનગર कीर्ती तोरण વડનગર એ ભારતના ગુજરાત રાજ્યના મહેસાણા જિલ્લામાં આવેલું એક શહેર છે. વડનગર રેલ અને માર્ગ દ્વારા જોડાયેલ છે. તે ભારતના વડા પ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદીનું જન્મસ્થળ છે. જૂના સમયમાં બદનગર એક રજવાડું , જ્યાં કનકસેન શાસન કરતો હતો. કનક સેન સૂર્યવંશી ક્ષત્રિય હતા, જેઓ સિકરવાર, બડગુર્જર, રાઘવ, ગુહિલ (સિસોદિયા) ના પૂર્વજ
